TAMCO was established in 1994 with the mission to provide organizations with a better way to manage their technology needs.

Creating Peace of Mind

Our founders, led by Jack Thompson, had a background that was different from most – a blend of technology integration, sales, financial leadership, and firsthand knowledge of the pain points customers experienced with technology ownership.

With this combination of expertise, TAMCO designed an offering and business model that addressed the pitfalls associated with all the traditional procurement options as well as the unavoidable burdens that came along with owning technology solutions. The result, customers loved an easy way to simply pay for use while having more control, flexibility, and protection as they transitioned in and out of technology lifecycles.

Telecom to Technology

While our focus started with use based plans designed for phone systems, we continually expanded to include other communications and network equipment, audio visual and video conferencing solutions, security surveillance and access control systems, and other technology installations. Through the years we have continued to enhance our procurement offerings and today they are known as TAMCO’s Technology As-A-Service subscription programs.
